The default Additional Trigger Events as set in the schedule are usually Nil as the above clauses are adequate for many situations.
However, some other clauses that customers use from time to time include:
-
a change in 51% of the ownership of the
Supplier;
the product being removed from support by the
Supplier;
a failure to provide support either under the existing arrangements or upon reasonable terms;
payment of moneys to the
Supplier - this can be useful to ensure milestones are reached;
termination of the project
the expiration of a certain time period
in the cases of SaaS, the failure of (name of site) to respond to a request within (time)
There is no reason why other trigger events cannot be used and our firm will seek to accommodate your requirements.
